Damaged Powders
This image shows some of the issues that arise from left over material that has been used in metal printing. The powder has become cracked, damaged, and fused together from the heat of the laser printing. Current methods of fixing this issue includes throwing the powder away, sieving out the bad particles, and adding in additional powder. These mitigation methods only go so far and eventually the material needs to be remelted down and partialized which is an expensive and time consuming process to complete.

Our Solution
Our solution is a simple process that requires no additional additives or sieving. By adding the damaged, used metal powders into the MCB machine we are able to improve the spherical shape of the powders and fix many of the issues found with poor flowability of the used material. Our solution is a simple and effective way of cleaning of the powder without the need of expensive alternative that are currently used by manufactures.
